Congrats to our Girls Wrestlers who have placed in both the Chadron Invite as well as the Oneill Invite. Chadron - Jenifer Banister 1st, Lainey Fillmore 1st, Stormy Tesch 2nd. Oneill - Jenifer Banister 6th, Lainey Fillmore 2nd. The girls will compete tomorrow in Valentine.

Congrats to our Unified Bowling Team for finishing as Runner Up at Districts. The team had a great season and finished on a High Note



Gordon-Rushville contests are starting back up after the Holiday Break, Our first Home contest will be Friday December 6th. Join in on the Fun and stop by and get yourself a Gourmet Caramel Apple, and support our Prostart Program.

We would like to recognize our One act team who was competing in the Conference One Act tournament. Lainey Fillmore won best Actress. All conference: Lainey Fillmore, Amara Funk, Haley Dane, Rowan Simonson, and Clair Wellnitz. The team placed 3rd overall.




Due to the road conditions, Gordon-Rushville Public Schools will have a 2-hour late start today Monday, November 25th. No breakfast will be served and buses will run accordingly leaving Rushville at 9:05 am and leaving Gordon at 9:35 am. Stay tuned to the radio stations or www.grmustangs.org for further information.

Jackson Roffers received a red ribbon for his speech on the depleting of the Ogallala Aquifer
Chris Swanson received a white ribbon for his speech on wind power
Taylor Gieselman received a blue ribbon for her extemporaneous speech
Case Sheenen received a red ribbon for his extemporaneous speech.
Makenna Feddersen received a white ribbon for her speech in Sr Public on GMO's
Grady Strain received a blue ribbon for his speech in Jr. Public speaking for his speech on Drone spraying.
Asa Funk received a red ribbon in Creed Speaking
Kinsleigh Krebs received 2nd place punching her ticket to state in Creed Speaking.

Bronson Freeseman signs his letter of intent to continue his baseball career with the Dakota Wesleyan University Tigers. From all the teachers and staff at Gordon-Rushville High School, keep up the hard work and best wishes. Congratulations Bronson.








GRMS Students, Parents and/or Guardians, the band/choir fundraiser orders will be arriving to the school today, Wednesday, November 19, 2024. Your student has been instructed that he/she will have to take orders home on the bus with him/her OR arrange for a parent or guardian to pick the order up from the school today. The school does not have space for cold items so please make sure you are making arrangements with your student(s). If you have questions, please call the office at 308-327-2682.

The following items were declared surplus and the district is selling them via sealed bid:
Black & Decker Radial Arm Saw, Enco 14" Band Saw, 10" Blade Table Saw, Three-Phase Electric Heater (2 of them), GE Electric Kitchen Stove, and Gas Kitchen Stove. (Pictures are included with the post)
Each item is sold separately and in "As Is" condition. Please submit a sealed bid for any individual item you would like to bid on to the district office at 810 North Oak Street, PO Box 530, Gordon, NE 69343. The district will accept sealed bids through 4:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2024. Please include the item name, the amount of your bid for the item, and your contact information within each sealed bid. Please contact the district office for any questions regarding any of the items.
