RES Kindergarten students celebrated Teddy Bear Day on Thursday to end their math unit on measurement. They recorded observations about their bears, compared bear weights and sizes, and measured their bears with cubes!
*SCHEDULE CHANGE* The FFA Banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in the GRHS cafeteria. Social begins at 5:30 PM, with the meal to follow at 6:00 PM. FFA will provide the main dish of pulled pork for the evening. Below is what each class is responsible for bringing:

The Ag Demonstration team of Caleb Heck, Kyler Vincent, Kayne Fisher, Wyatt Fedderson and Jaxon Kearns earned a Bronze plaque. Not pictured: Wyatt Fedderson
Hadleigh Hoos received a medal for Extemporaneous Speaking.
In senior livestock judging, Hadleigh Hoos and Jessalinn Dieriex earned blue ribbons and Caleb Heck earned a red ribbon. The team finished in 18th place overall.
Wyatt Feddersen received a purple ribbon in Junior Livestock with Austin Child and Jaxon Kearns receiving red ribbons, and Kayne Fisher received a white ribbon for a 10th place team finish out of 56 teams.
In Agriculture Science, Kati Cox received a red ribbon and Reese Simonson received a white ribbon
Overall, G-R FFA received 9 ribbons, 1 medal, 1 plaque, and 1 state degree! Congrats to Mr. McKimmey, G-R FFA Advisor, and to all the FFA students!

Mr. Mills’ March Math Challenge for first grade. At RES, we are establishing a growth mindset and taking on challenges with a positive attitude. He introduced multiplication facts through skip counting this past week! The kids did a fantastic job! We will be practicing the facts throughout the coming weeks!
