Head of Maintenance
Due to relocation Gordon-Rushville Public Schools is seeking an individual to work as Head of Maintenance.  The Head of Maintenance supervises and manages the District’s custodial staff along with performing general maintenance duties, primarily at the High School in Gordon.  This position also requires the applicant to either possess or be eligible for a Class II bus driver’s license. The district will assist with the process of obtaining the license including costs.  Responsibilities include both indoor and outdoor maintenance.  All Gordon-Rushville Public School employees are subject to a background check. Salary dependent upon experience, benefits include a stipend for health insurance.

Special Education Teacher (9-12)
Gordon-Rushville Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of 9-12 Special Education Teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. Candidates must possess or be eligible to hold a valid teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement. Extra-duty assignments are available, but not required.
Gordon-Rushville Public Schools offers a competitive salary and benefits. The district will consider up to 5 years of experience for placement on the salary schedule. Vocational Ed Teacher
Gordon-Rushville Public Schools is seeking a Vocational Education teacher for the 2018-19 school year.  This will be a new program for the district and the teacher will have input into the structure and offerings. Class options are to be determined based on student interest and instructor strengths. Interested persons must have or be eligible for an Industrial Tech or Skilled and Technical Science Education certificate. We are looking for an innovative/energetic individual to fill this position. K-12 School Counselor
Gordon-Rushville Public Schools is seeking a K-12 School Counselor to begin with the 2018-19 school year. This position is for a K-12 School Counselor who will provide all aspects of school counseling services to students grade K-12, with the primary responsibility being in grades 9-12. 
Position to start August 2018. Counselors have and are compensated for extra contract days beyond 185 days. Salary dependent on experience. Must qualify for Nebraska Certification. Gordon-Rushville Public Schools is taking applications for a Food Service Manager beginning with the 2018-19 school year.  The position includes management of the district’s food service program including the summer food program.  Duties include, but are not limited to, menu planning, food safety compliance, federal program reporting, personnel management, and food preparation.  This position is from August through June annually. Gordon-Rushville Public Schools
is taking applications for bus drivers. Interested individuals must be eligible for a Class 1 and Class 2 bus driving license.
